Royal Bank Security Fishing Scam

This email is rather clever. It basically uses reverse psychology to get you to believe that your
bank has upgraded its security system. Since they did that you BELIEVE that you should click
 the link and FIX your account. DON'T DO IT!!!! The link actually goes to a PHISHING page.
NO BANK will ask you to click on a link on an email. NEVER visit your bank using a link
provided on an e-mail. Clues: First Clue is that most banks will use a regular business style font,
such as Arial, Times Roman or Courier.
Second: Check the link .. ALWAYS CHECK THE LINK put the cursor over it. IF IT DOES
NOT SHOW A LINK DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.

clients. Some customers have been receiving an email claiming to be
from RBC Financial Group advising them to follow a link to what appear
to be a RBC Financial Group web site, where they are prompted to enter
their personal Online Banking details. RBC Financial Group is in no
way involved with this email and the web site does not belong to us.

We updated our new SSL servers to give our customers a better, fast
and secure online banking service.

Due to the recent update of the servers, you are requested to please

Do not click the link. Enter the site by typing in the URL of the bank. Set your own Favorite Link and never visit the site without using that Favorite Link. NEVER click on a link on an email for a financial institution.
