 Analysis
Rating: One of many that I have recieved from guides and outfitters. It is also sent to Bed and Breakfasts. The scam works like this.. they make reservations paying you in full ahead of time. ONLY they send too much money or tell you they are sending extra for you to send to their travel agent or other person. Certified Checks have been used in the past. The checks are good enough that some banks will actually cash them. Other scams use credit cards that have been stolen or have been hijacked from the mail. They charge them up but since you did not see the ACTUAL CARD the money is taken back from you. You have sent the EXTRA money on and the criminal now has it. NEVER take more than the amount of the trip from any one EVER. 99.9 times out of 99.999999999 times this is a scam.. matter of fact I have never EVER heard of one being legit.

Good day Sir/Madam,
             I am MR KEVIN of DON SUITE AGENCY.I need to book for charter in your place for students (23-24 YEARS) coming for fishing trip. My clients (  JESUITS COLLEGE  ) hired my services as an agent to know if there are free spaces for their fishing trip.
 
The fishing trip is going to commence on the 5TH of NOVEMBER 2008 and end on the 11TH of NOVEMBER 2008. We need space for 4 students for 6 days.At this time I will like you to give us your rates per day and to know the facilities you have to offer us during our trip if you do not have availability at the time we requested, let's know when you preferably have space.
 
We will be having a meeting today in preparation for this trip and this information will be needed.We are working out mordalities for a succesful fishing trip in your place.
 
We have been having series of meetings concerning this fishing trip and by God's grace we know with your assistance everything is going to work out well and I will want you to give us a total run-down of what it will cost us for 6 days for the 4 students.
 
Get back to me with the GRAND TOTAL cost for our trip including tax so that we can start discussing payment immediately.Do get back to me quickly, as we don't have much time. Thank you and have a nice day.

   This is a rather poorly written and obvious scam letter. One clue was that I got the same letter from several guides the same day, and I also received it. Beyond that is the poor English grammar and spelling from an ENGLISHMAN.. and the name? Dickson Owen?
